Happy Friday! Welcome back to What I Eat in a Day! So ecxited to share some awesome meal ideas whether you follow Weight Watchers like me – or just on your own weight loss journey.
First Meal!
My first meal today was 11:30. I’ve been waiting to eat until I’m hungry and that’s what time my stomach started rumbling! By the end of the week, it’s kind of slim pickings as far as what to eat – but I made it work!
If you haven’t had Just Bare Chicken nuggets – add it to your grocery list stat! I buy mine at my local grocery store Mariano’s – I know they sell these at Costco too! I looked in my freezer and saw I had frozen hash browns, so the nuggets, hash brown AND fresh green beans went into my air fryer. Bake at 400 for 10 minutes. The green beans got a little extra crunchy – but I liked it!
The points for me for this whole plate is 8 personal points. (The side dish has gHughes sugar free honey mustard). And I ate the rest of my blueberries and strawberries I had in the fridge. *I have to count points for fruit, so this meal could be lower in points for you!
Afternoon snack
My afternoon snack turned out to be a happy accident! I had one Joseph’s pita in my fridge. I cut it in half and put it in my toaster. While that was toasting I mixed up 2 tablespoons PB2 powedered peanut butter. When the pita came out of the toaster, add 1 tablespoon of the PB2 on each side and added sliced apple. The happy accident is the pita kind of got crispy, so it was like eating an apple pie with a flaky crust! My snack was 5 personal points for me. (The whole pita is only 1 point and 2 TB. of PB2 is also 1 point!)
Party Pizza Friday!
Every friday night I have pizza! I look forward to it every week! Becuase I have it every week, I don’t go too overboard because it’s not the last time I’ll have it! We order from a local pizza place and it’s delicious!
For the pizza, I count it anywhere between 15-20 points. I may have to dip into my weekly weight watchers points, depending on what I ate that day. Not picture, 2 beers catching up on my shows I recorded during the week!
