Hello and Welcome to my blog! Updating this January 2023!
I have been on a weight loss journey pretty much my whole adult life. I’ve been a Lifetime Weight Watcher for 20 years. I joined Weight Watchers the first time in the summer of 1999. My daughter Emma was only 3 years old and my son Mark was only 1. I dragged them every week to my local Weight Watchers meeting, bringing a blanket and toys and trying to keep them occupied while I enjoyed my meeting. After 9 months I had lost 70 pounds and I was at goal. I stayed at goal until having my daughter Claire in 2001. Once I was pregnant with her – I ate a lot of foods I hadn’t eaten in a while and packed on the pounds.
HOWEVER, I’ve never given up my desire to get back to goal. I’ve had ups and downs on my journey – but as long as you are still in the race, that’s what’s important right?
My goal is NOT to be skinny – my goal is to be as healthy as I can so in my 60’s – 70’s – 80’s and beyond (I’m 54 now) I will be able to spend my time travelling, enjoying life and not spending time on trips to the doctor or on lots of medication.
I’m trying to eat more fruits and vegetables as I can, moving more, and just enjoying the journey!

I post almost every day – and share in my stories what I am cooking, what workouts I am doing and just sharing my day. What a joy to have this during quarantine to stay connected to people.
