My breakfast this week has made me very happy! I mentioned I was eating a Lite Organic Cereal from Trader Joe’s and topping it with fresh fruit. It’s so good and filling! This was my breakfast today!
1 srv. Trader Joe’s cereal
1/2 cup of fiber one
1/2 cup blueberries
1/2 cup of strawberries
1/2 a banana
1 cup skim milk
Total 6 points!!!
For lunch I decided to make a grilled turkey & cheese sammy on my low-carb pita. I used my sisters idea she read about by using a touch of mayonnaise instead of butter on the outside of the bread instead of butter. It makes a nice crust on the outside and its so easy to spread, you hardly need to use any to coat the bread!
This was my lunch:
1 lo-carb pita
deli tueky pastrami
1 oz. mexican cheese
pretzels and carrots
(My son took a bite out of it while I was getting the camera!)
Total 9 points
And of course, a Friday night would not be complete without party pizza Friday!! I had 3 slices from a small thin crust pizza. According to Weight Watchers on-line, its about 12 points, or 4 points per slice, and that’s okay with me!
Oh, and I almost forgot, for an afternoon treat, I weighed out 1/2 a serving of M&M’s for 2 points!
So, at the end of the day, with 2 beers with party pizza Friday, I did dip into my flex points by 8, but that’s okay, I’m still doing great!
Come back tomorrow to see pics from The Chicago Fire Soccer Game I’m going to tonight!! My company has a suite there with V.I.P. parking! I can’t wait!!
