This way of making french toast kind of happened by accident. I wanted to make french toast – usually you make a dipping mixture of eggs, milk, vanilla extract and cinnamon – but I had no eggs. I did have Premier Protein drink in my fridge and was wondering if that would work. I It definitely worked great and my Premier Protein French Toast was born!
What is Premier Protein?
You can buy Premier Protein two ways – as a powder, or as a premade drink. They come in a ton of different flavors – my favorite is caramel and vanilla. The best price I’ve found them at is Sam’s Club. For this recipe I used 1/2 a bottle of caramel Premier Protein to dip my bread in.
How many points is Premier Protein?
For my Weight Watcher friends – most of these shakes are 2-3 points depending on flavor with 30 grams of protein. Other things I use Premier Protein for is add it to my iced coffee, to make oatmeal, I’ll make smoothies with it – lots of options!

What kind of bread did I use? For this recipe I used Healthy Life Keto Bread – here is a link to their site where you can see where it’s sold in a grocery store near you. Typically I don’t normally use low carb bread – someone suggested it to me to try – and I love it! 2 slices for 1 point on WW!

Premier Protein French Toast
- 1/2 bottle Premier Protein (I used caramel flavor)
- 2 slices Healthy Life low carb bread
- In a shallow bowl, add the premier protein drink. Dip each slice into the batter and it will absorb most of the premier protein drink.
- Cook on low/medium heat in a skillet coated with cooking spray about 3 minutes a side.
