Now onto one of my favorite things to do on the grill….Kabobs!
If you haven’t decided your 4th of July menu, kabobs is one of the easiest things to do. You can decide what kind of protein you want, chicken, beef, shrimp, etc… and whatever veggies you like!
With it, you can also make these Lemon Potatoes

Lastly, I wanted to share some pictures from a day downtown with my family. My brother and his family are in town from Austin Texas, and my sister and I took the day off so we could play in Chicago. We went to Millennium Park, Taste of Chicago, and a cool ice cream spot called I-Cream. It’s on North Milwaukee Ave. in the Wicker Park neighborhood. You pick what flavor you want in your ice cream and they flash freeze it with Liquid Nitrogen. It’s so cool!
I hope everyone has a great 4th weekend!!!!!
Oh, now I understand what the Bean picture was all about in Biz’s post! And I totally want to go to I Cream now – yum!
The kebobs look awesome, I don’t make those too much. Kids and pointy sticks just don’t get along together. They are pretty though! Thanks for the cheese, I appreciate it!!
I love the idea with the tomatoes you shared. If last year’s crop of romas is any indication of the crop I have coming this year, then we will be drowning in them. I am saving your idea and will be using it for sure! Thank you for stopping by my blog, I will be back to yours again and again. Happy 4th of July! ~Leslie
Fun pics! Your kabobs made my mouth water!

I still haven’t tried making kabobs yet. It’s on my list for this summer.
