Biggest Loser + Salad Club

Okay, first off, let’s talk about Biggest Loser last night! It was so good! Everyone looked so great. That’s my favorite part of the show is when they go back home for the first time.

I was surprised by a lot of things. Koli I think was a little too extreme with him leaving home and working out so much and kind of cutting himself off from everyone. I understand he’s trying to win a game, but at some point he is going to have to live a normal life again with people and family and social events and he’s going to have to deal with that when the time comes.

Michael I thought looked amazing. He looks so much younger and he worked really hard at home and I think he’s going to be able to help his sister who is overweight a lot!

Ashley did amazing during the marathon. It is a daunting task for sure and I liked how she had a great attitude about the whole thing. I am happy she and Michael are in the final 2!!

Daris, Daris….what happened?!? If he caves at home the first 30 days by overeating at night, he’s never going to keep the weight off. When they showed the commercial of someone gaining 2 pounds I never would have thought in a million years it would have been him!

So, my question for you is, who are you going to vote for, Daris or Koli??

Now on to SALAD CLUB!!!

My friends Laura and Leslie dishing up salad!

I started a salad club at my office a few weeks ago. We had one a few years ago, but it kind of broke up and we never went back to it. We have some new employees, so I sent the invite out to whoever wanted to join.

We now have 7 people in it. Basically how it works is you bring a bag of greens, and a fruit or vegetable to share + a bottle of dressing to share.

We put all the greens in a giant bowl and then you can add whatever else someone brought.

Yesterdays salad (my camera battery died, so no picture!) was spinach, mixed greens, fresh herbs, strawberries, cucumbers, green onions, toasted flax seeds, dried cranberries, soy nuts and croutons.

And the best part? There are usually leftovers for the next day, so I don’t have to worry about lunch 2 days a week and I am eating something healthy!

Do you have a healthy eating club at work, or would you want to start one??
