Ahhh…the last day of school!

So yesterday was the official last day of school for my kids! I have summer hours at work, so I only have to work 4 hours of Friday for the rest of the summer, so my husband and I decided to take the kids out to lunch. I’m just going to say it right now that I did NOT make a healthy choice!

We went to a place in our town called Bar Louie. They had a kids menu, so two out of three of my kids could do that. After lunch we went shopping to a few fun stores in my hometown of Oak Park, Illinois

This is what I ordered. It was tempura battered kobe hot dogs with 3 different kinds of dipping sauces! Not part of my healthy eating plan, but boy were they good. It was kind of like fancy corn dogs!

We went to a cool store in my town called Pumpkin Moon. They have a ton of cool stuff! We always love going in there and looking around. They have a ton of lunchboxes, like Hello Kitty!

So that was my day pretty much! It was great, I am glad summer is here!!
