
- 3/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/2 cup quick cooking oats (I used steel cut)
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 1 TB sugar
- 2 TB. canola oil
- 1 egg
- *optional 1/4 cup chocolate chips, diced
Add everything in a bowl and stir until everything is incorporated. I used a half up measure to pour it on the waffle iron. Cook for about 3-4 minutes. It makes 6 waffles and each serving is 2 waffles. 230 calories, 6 fat and 3 fiber. You could also of course, add blueberries, mashed banana, or I would have added ground flax seed, but I am out!
