Believe it or not, this is an example of one pound of fat lost!!I can’t believe another week has gone by!! I’m diggin’ my new outlook of taking things one day at a time, because before you know it, its time for my weekly weigh-in at Weight Watchers! As you can see from the title of this post, I’m down another pound, which is great, because I threw out my back last Thursday and it bothered me all week, so I was not able to work out at all. I was kind of down about that, because I am trying to move more, and ride my bike to work, going to the “Y”, etc…but then I thought about a few people I know who lost all their weight on Weight Watchers just watching their portions and not exercising at all, so I tried to watch my intake of food and portions all week. One thing I am doing different this time is not weighing myself AT ALL during the week. This is hard for me, because I am used to weighing myself every day. I have read several articles that say if you are losing weight, weighing in more than once a week is unnecessary, and if you are maintaining your weight, weighing in more often is okay. For me, not weighing in everyday keeps me on track and I don’t get all bummed if I see the number up a little because depending on the day, your weight fluctuates all the time to some degree, so I don’t put as much importance on that as I used to. Now, when I wake up, I just continue my day and try to do the best I can…and so far it’s working! I’ve had a loss every week for the last 7 weeks! Until next weigh-in Wednesday, have a great week!
