Weigh-In Wed…. +.8

I didn’t get a chance to go to my regular Weight Watchers meeting, but unofficially I gained .8 this week.  I’m not worried about it though.  I’ve had a loss for the last 10 weeks, and last week I still wrote everything down, and exercised 5x, so I still feel great and more motivated than ever.  I think the key to staying on track is planning and knowing what you are going to eat in advance.  Usually I like to make the food I am bringing to work the night before, but sometimes I get lazy and don’t do it until the morning.  Since its still summer, my kids are still sleeping before I go to work, so I definitely have time to make a good lunch and snacks to bring to work.  Today was kind of funny though, I haven’t gone grocery shopping this week yet, so I have forced myself to eat stuff out of my freezer that never seems to see the light of day.  I was thinking I didn’t really have that many choices, but in the end, I found great stuff!  I mentioned yesterday that I tried the hemp milk for the first time.  I used 1 cup of hemp milk, 1/2 cup of oatmeal and 1 banana and sprinkled some brown sugar on top for breakfast.  As I was searching through my freezer, I found an aluminum foil package that I had no idea what was inside.  When I opened it, I found 2 Trader Joe’s vegetable egg rolls.  Jackpot!  So, I took one out, I can cook it in the toaster oven at work.  I made whole wheat pasta last night, so I took about a 1/2 cup of that, some frozen stir fry veggies that were in my freezer, I chopped up 2 small carrots, and a little red onion.  So for my lunch today I am having a stir fry, topped with my favorite stir fry sauce.  House of Tsang Peanut Thai sauce.  Then for snacks, I grabbed a few small apples, and a cheese stick and a light yogurt.  So, for thinking I had no food to make something deluxe, I was totally wrong!  It’s going to be a great day!
