Special K package!

When I got home from work the other day, I had a BIG package waiting for me. I knew what it might be. I was asked if I would like to try a bunch of Special K products and I immediately said yes!

Before this, I had never actually bought Special K before in my life. You’ve seen the commercials where you can lose 6 pounds in 2 weeks by following their program of cereal, protein drinks, and other products.

While I won’t be exactly taking that challenge, my family and I did try all the products and I have to say I would definitely buy them again.

In my box was granola, which was REALLY good! I sprinkled that on top of yogurt a few days. Also there were crackers. The flavor was tomato and basil, I didn’t really care for that flavor, (but I don’t like tomatoey things), but my kids loved them. And the protein shakes came in handy for me this week as well. I was home sick last week for 3 days, starving, but no energy to make even breakfast, so I grabbed the chocolate protein shake and it kept me full all morning. The other thing that was a big hit was these:

They are called fruit crisps and for 2 bars is only 100 calories. I had one of these as an after dinner special treat when I was feeling like something sweet.

So, all in all, I really enjoyed all the products I got to test.

Do you guys buy Special K products? Has anyone tried the 2 week challenge??

I hope everyone has a great Saturday!! I am meeting my twin sister Biz and our two best friends who are also identical twins (we’ve been best friends since 3rd grade!!!) for lunch, so I can’t wait. We always have so much to talk about!!
