As much as I love making foods from scratch, let’s face it, life sometimes gets in the way and you need stuff on hand as a healthy back up. While I was at the store the other day, I picked up a few things I wanted to share with you.
This organic soup company has a wide variety of soups available. Per 1 cup serving, its only 90 calories 2.5 grams of fat and 2 grams of fiber. Paired with a salad or sandwich, and you’ve got a quick fast meal. For one box with 4 servings, it was on sale for $1.99!! (At Jewel food stores in the Chicago area)
The second item I picked up was this:
This one serving bag of instant noodle soup was only .89 cents and the package is 160 calories, 2 grams of fat. All you have to do is add water and cook for 3 minutes in the microwave. To bulk it up, you could add cooked chicken, more veggies and turn it into a great one pot meal!
And lastly, if you’ve never tried this sauce, my family puts this on practically everything! We add it to soups, chili, hamburgers, pasta dishes, eggs. If they sold it in gallon containers, I would definitely buy it!
Have you tried any of these products before?
*These reviews are my personal opinion, I was not given any free product to sample.

I LOVE finding new great sites I’ve never seen before. Check out Mom’s Kitchen Meal Makeovers for your chance to win a beautiful waffle maker!!
Also, speaking of waffles and breakfast stuff, have you ever visited Mr. Breakfast? Anything you’ve ever wanted to know about breakfast places to eat at, recipes, food finds, etc. It’s a really great site, so check it out!

And I would like to leave you with a quote I read that I think is very poignant:
“Don’t put the key to your happiness in someone else’s pocket – keep it in your own.”
Thanks for the heads up on the waffle maker giveaway – I don’t own one but would love to have one so I could make protein waffles!
That potato soup looks great…and being that it’s made with red potatoes, it’s much better for you than regular old russets. I’ll have to look for it!
Love that quote – very apropos for me today.
