Since my weekend was so busy, I didn’t have time to go to the grocery store and do a whole weeks shopping, so I stopped by a local market by my house to pick up something for dinner and found a few new food finds.
The first thing I found were these hummus chips. They are really light and crunchy and have a great garlic flavor. One serving is only 110 calories, and because they are so light, a serving is a nice size!
The next thing I found was Arnold Select Brand Sandwich thins. Each piece of bread is 100 calories, but has 5 grams of fiber!
So, I decided to use 1 of the slices of bread as my base for my breakfast sandwich. I cooked one egg and two egg whites, 1/2 oz. cheese, 1 slice of pastrami, with a little hot sauce on top! It was so good! I think these would be great as a base for mini pizzas too!
If you are local, I bought these two products at Pan’s grocery store on Oak Park Avenue in Oak Park
Don’t forget to check out Peanut Butter Boy today, my brother is guest posting, and all I can say, is Charlie makes a mean sandwich!!
I just discovered those sandwich thins myself, after a friend mailed some to me! It’s awesome that you hav them closeby. Your little breakfast sandwich looks delicious!
