How to Make English Muffin Bread!!

Thanks to Ally at Sweet & Savory Food for posting this recipe over the weekend, I had everything to make it, and I made it the same day!
English Muffin Bread

Here are the ingredients. It makes 2 loaves of bread and I actually halved the recipe and I wish I didn’t because it was eaten over the weekend by my whole family and the next thing you know it was gone!

English Muffin Bread (from Ally at Sweet & Savory)
2 pkg. yeast
1 T. sugar
2 c. milk
1/2 c. water (warm water, but not too hot to touch)
6 c. flour
2 t. salt
1/4 t. baking soda

Just add the yeast, warm water and sugar and stir. In a big mixing bowl add the dry ingredients, then add the rest of the wet ingredients, including the milk. I used skim milk too, but I guess any kind of milk would be okay too.

Let rise in a warm place for 30-45 minutes. Bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.

Ally said this bread is great sliced and toasted in the toaster. It was a huge hit in my house!
