Thanks to everyone who participated this week, we got some great entries!
To start out with, I made a pork dish this week in my crock pot which turned out great. It’s basically a pork shoulder and I made a rub to go on it.
1 TB. chili powder
1 TB. cumin
1 TB. garlic salt
Mix together and rub all over the pork. Place it on the bottom of the crock pot, then I added a bunch of new potatoes and a bunch of carrots. That’s it. Just walk away! I cooked this on the low setting for 9 hours. When I got home, the veggies were all cooked and I took out the pork and shredded it.
You could put this on a bun, or just serve it with the veggies as is. It was so flavorful and moist!
