Weigh-In Wednesday


I couldnโ€™t go to my regular weigh in today because ofย a work conflict, BUT, I think I did great this week making healthier choices. I refrained from weighing myself at home because I am still in the zone, and I want to stay there, so another week of making better choices will not hurt me in the long run.
Here was my dilemma today.ย  I broughtย a healthy lunch of my homemade macaroni and cheese, but I had a lunch meeting which meant ordering from a restaurant and having the food delivered.ย  Two things popped into my head.ย  The first one was:
  1. I donโ€™t have to weigh in for another week, so it probably would be no big deal if I went off my healthy eating plan.
  2. I could order something and eat only half?
  3. I could stick with what I brought for lunch and know exactly how many calories I was going to eat.

The one that won out??ย  I chose number 3!!ย  That is a first for me.ย  It was too hard for me to pick something that was healthy on the menu, or didnโ€™t have hidden calories somewhere, so I stuck with my lunch and it was fine.ย  No one else cared that I was eating my own lunch, so it worked out great.ย  Iโ€™m glad I chose that in the long run, because my usual that I would get from that restaurant is the chicken finger dinner, which with fries is about 1500 calories!!ย  I feel much better about my decision and I can just continue on!ย  Wish me luck on next weekโ€™s weigh-in, I will keep you posted!ย
