Thanksgiving tips!

If you haven’t seen this commercial, I almost pee in my pants every time I see it because I am laughing so hard!  Of course, I knew it had to be on you tube!  But seriously, Thanksgiving is only a few weeks away, and over the next few weeks, I will post some holiday recipes.  When I go to my husband’s side of the family, he has 10 brothers and sisters and there are 20 something grandchildren, so there is always a ton of people there.  Everyone brings an appetizer, side dish, desert, etc.  One year, I decided to make a baked potato bar.  Basically, you cook a whole bunch of potatoes, covered in foil, then put them in a nice basket (they keep warm for a really long time). Then I just served fixin’s to go with it.  Shredded cheese, sour cream, chives, bacon bits, etc… Then all someone had to do was grab a tater, and fix it how they like it.  The best part was you can make a little or a lot, and most times you can buy a 5 lb. bag of potatoes for under $5.00!   If you are stumped about what to bring, let me know and I will try to help!
