Spicy Oats!

So good!

If you haven’t tried spicy oats before, you must give it a try!

I make this a few times a month I would say. Although I love oatmeal with brown sugar, or berries, doing it this way is also deluxe!

I use:

1/2 cup quick oats
2 cups water
1 oz. white cheddar cheese
2 oz. taco meat
lots of hot sauce!

Now I know what you are thinking, 2 cups of water, isn’t that too much? Nope! I like mine super creamy. I’ll add the oats, add the water and microwave for a couple of minutes. Watch the microwave because sometimes the oatmeal will go out of the bowl!

Next add the mix ins. I added the taco meat and the cheese and cook for another minute.

Here’s the important part. It will kind of look soupy, just cover the bowl with a dish and let stand for about 5 minutes. The oats get all absorbed and it’s super creamy and yummy.

This bowl will take me, and I eat SLOW like 30 minutes to eat! And all this for only 350 calories!
