The wonderful people of Pop Chips sent me a nice care package with all different flavors of their chips. I had never tried them before and the best part? Each bag is only 100 calories! They are a little puffier than regular chips, but I liked that about them. My favorite flavor was sour cream and onion, and my son’s was the salt and vinegar! (can’t do that flavor!)

As part of Food Buzz taste testers program, I was sent a new kind of Wonder Bread! It’s called Smart White and for 2 slices of bread, it’s got the same amount of calcium as an 8 oz. glass of milk and it has 33% less sodium than other breads. If you like the soft white bread like when you were a kid, but want it a little healthier, go buy this. This loaf lasted about 2 days in my house! My kids loved it with their lunches!

Also, as part of Food Buzz taste testers program I received Soy Joy bars.

I know there are a lot of people who are crazy about these, I am not a huge fan. For me, for the calories, it’s kind of tiny, although I will have to say, they tasted good!

Another product I was lucky to be sent was from the people of Cherry Farms. They have a new product called “Cheribundi”. Basically they cram 50 cherries into each little bottle. They have a few different varieties, and they are not totally sweet, which is what I liked about them. They aren’t widely available in stores yet, but you can purchase them thru their web site here.

And the nice folks at Horizon Dairy sent a free coupon to try their new milk: Horizon Organic DHA-Omega 3 low fat chocolate milk!

What is DHA? According to their site, here is an explanation of DHA:

DHA belongs to a category of healthy fatty acids known as Omega-3’s. Found in high concentrations in the tissues of the brain and eye, DHA Omega-3 is thought to help support healthy function in these areas. DHA has also been shown to help support heart health.
