Blueberry Lime Chia Seed Jam

- 2 cups blueberries frozen or fresh
- 1 lime juice of one lime and zest of one lime
- 3 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
In a pot, add the blueberries, chia seeds, the juice of one lime, plus the zest of one lime and heat on low heat for about 10 minutes.
Using a potato masher - mash down most of the blueberries, I like to keep a few whole to make it chunkier.
Transfer to a mason jar and chill.
If you don't like blueberries, feel free to swap out for strawberries, raspberries, mango.
I love keeping various frozen berries in my freezer because they are always good to add to yogurt, in smoothies, make a berry sauce for pancakes or waffles.
